Port of Quake III to the PSP released by Crow_bar in 2010.

Quake III Arena is a first-person shooter game developed by id Software and released on December 2, 1999. It is the third game in the Quake series.

Installation

Note: A shareware version or full retail copy of Quake III is required to play. For running mods you will need files from full version of Quake.

The archive includes some addons as well as modified settings by Jastolze (2012):

  • UPARROW bind to god mode, and DOWNARROW bind to give all (you can change it in the config file).
  • Cheats are enable on the start map.
  • Added a bunch of small maps that should give you at least 18 FPS (with bots).
  • Changed some settings, so it would speed up the game.

To install, copy the Quake3 folder to ms0:/PSP/GAME/.

From your PC install, navigate to the baseq3 folder and transfer the PAK files to the PSP/GAME/Quake3/ directory. The Q3CONFIG.CFG file is already in the baseq3 folder and does not need to be replaced with the PC version's configuration file.

Alternatively you can use the PAK files from the demo version, they are inside the Demo folder in the download. (You can also get them here)
