A text reader for the NDS. Available in Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English.

Note: The author is not responsible for any data loss that this program may cause to your console, please keep a backup of your important files before using.

Features

• Supports text files encoded in ANSI, Unicode, Unicode Big Endian, and UTF-8.
• Can open text files up to 2000 MB (opens in less than 1 second).
• Supports anti-aliasing text (similar to ClearType).
• Supports a variety of fonts in different styles and sizes.
• For ANSI-encoded text, allows you to choose the language region (similar to Applocale).
• Supports multilingual text mixing in non-ANSI encoded texts.
• Can save up to 128 bookmarks and 8 recent bookmark records.
• Allows you to select from four different reading directions.
• Can change the background color and text color.
• Key functions can be customized during reading.
• Supports touchscreen operations.
• Allows jumping between sections during reading.

Installation

Extract the zip file and copy the content to any location on the SD card.

The program will automatically locate the dsxreader folder, so make sure that only one dsxreader folder is present on the card.

For flashcards that do not support automatic DLDI patching, you will need to manually patch the flashcard.

Important notes:

• The dsxreader folder should not be placed inside any folder containing non-English characters.
• The jump function is disabled for text files encoded in UTF-8.
• The software is optimized for Unicode encoding. Converting your text to Unicode will provide the best performance, saving power and eliminating the need for encoding conversion during reading. However, you may choose not to convert, as the software will still function without issue.

Up/Down - Page Up/Down

Stylus:

Tap the left side of the screen - Colors

Tap the right side of the screen - Menu

Tap the top of the screen - Page Up
