Viracide is a strategic shooter game for the Game Boy Advance, inspired by Citadel by Martin Walker (C64), Paradroid by Andrew Braybrook (C64), and System Shock 2 (PC).

It was written within 5 days for the GBADev compo in 2002.

User guide

Note that the game is not a straight shooter, if you do not think before you fire, you will not get too far.

Firing will cause the droids to fire on you. While you are still, the droids will hold fire.

Use this to your advantage. Take your time, learn the behaviour of different types of robots.

Use the terminals to their dullest potential. Explore all the options.

Use the elevators to move between the two levels.

Find codes and use keypads to open energy gates, reach the Exit to complete the demo.

Controls

A - Begin the game

D-Pad - Move the Droid

A+D-Pad - Fire lasers

B - Access Terminals, Keypads and Lifts
