Swiver is a homebrew that can automatically switch (or spoof) the system's version.txt to any firmware version between 1.00 and 6.61.
It can be used to fix the "The system version of your PSP™ system version is 9.90. There is no need to update" issue on devices running 5.50 Custom Firmware.
It also creates a backup of the original version.txt file. If anything goes wrong in the process, you can rerun the program to restore the backup.
Installation
Download the swiver.zip from releases.
Extract the file using any software that can uncompress .zip files.
Copy the swiver folder to the /PSP/GAME/ folder of your PSP.
