Super Luigi Odyssey (SLO) is an unofficial mod created by Wexos and Atlas which makes Luigi playable as the main character in Super Mario Odyssey. All icons, outfits, text, layout and more have been edited to make the game Luigi-themed.

Installation

Installing the mod

Requirements: A modded console and a copy of Super Mario Odyssey in your Switch, either digital or physical.

Download Super Luigi Odyssey in the main page. If you have the latest version of Super Mario Odyssey, download v1.1 of Super Luigi Odyssey, else, download v1.0.

To install Super Luigi Odyssey, extract the contents of the zip file into the following path on your Switch's SD card:

Atmosphere <=0.9.4 /Atmosphere/title/0100000000010000/romfs/
Atmosphere >=0.10.1 /Atmosphere/contents/0100000000010000/romfs/

Running the mod

To launch Super Luigi Odyssey, you need to boot into RCM mode (if you have a modded Switch you should know how to do this). Make sure you launch the CFW payload with Atmosphere.

To know if the payload correctly launched Atmosphere, launch Super Mario Odyssey.

If the mod is successfully applied, the menu screen will be changed to Super Luigi Odyssey (note that the icons on the home menu still say Super Mario Odyssey) If not, please try again with a different payload.

User guide

Explore the same kingdoms as in Super Mario Odyssey, and help the green-eyed Cappy to save his beloved sister Tiara, and Peach who was kidnapped by Bowser. Collect Power Moons, which is the fuel for the Odyssey, and travel between the different kingdoms and explore the world.

Fight the four Broodals: Spewart, Topper, Rango, and Hariet, and collect Multi Moons which are worth as much as 3 Power Moons. Join this epic journey and at the end, fight against Bowser himself to stop his wedding with Peach, in an epic final fight on the Moon.

Connect online to play Mario's Balloon World. In this game you search for balloons, hidden by other players in the different kingdoms. When you find a balloon, you get coins as a reward. More difficult balloons mean more coins. You can also hide your own balloons and let other people find them. A great way of earning coins, while having fun at the same time.
