Pixel Who The Lost Legions is an adventure game, set in the world of Doctor Who for the original Game Boy.
Installation
The ROM file can be used with an emulator or on a real hardware with a flashcart.
User guide
Once again the TARDIS did not land where it was supposed to. The Doctor and Jamie wanted to visit ancient Rome. But now they find themselves in a damp forest. Just as they begin to figure out where the TARDIS has taken them this time, they are taken captive by the dodgy Arminius.
Experience a thrilling story based on true historical events and characters, solve tricky puzzles and answer over thirty Doctor Who trivia questions.
Title screen
At the title screen, press any button to continue. If you have a saved game, you can choose to load it or start a new game. If no previous save is available, the game will begin automatically.
Keep in mind that there's only one save slot.
Quiz screen
Every now and then you'll face trivia quiz challenges. These quizzes takes place in rounds, beginning with a Doctor Who trivia question. Choose the correct answer using the D-Pad and confirm with the A Button.
If your answer is right, your enemy loses a quiz point displayed on their screen's right side. If it's wrong, you'll lose a quiz point displayed above your character.
You win the trivia quiz when your enemy has no quiz points left. You lose the trivia quiz when you have no quiz points left. If you lose a trivia quiz the game is over.
Characters
The Doctor is an alien from the planet Gallifrey. He travels trough time and space with his TARDIS and stumbles from one adventure into another along the way.
Jamie is a Highland Scot from the mid-18th century. He met the Doctor right after the Battle of Culloden. Since then he accompanies the Doctor and they have become dear friends.
Arminius is a young officer in the roman army. He was sent to Germania to aid Varus in completing the Roman conquest of the Germanic tribes.
Varus is the governor of the Roman province of Germania.
