This is a partially translated English patch for Phantasy Star Nova (ファンタシースター ノヴァ).
Phantasy Star Nova is a spin-off game in the Phantasy Star series, developed by tri-Ace and published by Sega for the PS Vita. It was released in Japan on November 27, 2014 and in Asia on March 26, 2015.
It is the second Phantasy Star instalment for the 8th generation of consoles, following the popular MMORPG Phantasy Star Online 2.
Notes
This game is not 100% complete; perhaps around 70% has been translated. The elements that haven’t been translated include:
- Tutorial pictures, Sometimes guessing is required or using google lens.
- Characters from the "Cold Sleep Chamber" dialog is not translated (literally not even needed tbh)
- Item Descriptions of "Cores" not translated (pretty much not that important)
- DLC quests not translated.
- Some in-game dialog isn't translated (debatable on whether some of it is even necessary)
- Trophies aren't translated (you cant translate them anyways)
Installation
Requirements:
- Phantasy Star Nova + Update 1.05 (PCSG00351).
- Make sure you have rePatch plugin installed.
Create a new directory called rePatch (case sensitive) in ux0 (ux0:rePatch/).
Create a new directory called PCSG00351 in ux0:rePatch/ (ux0:rePatch/PCSG00351/).
Extracting the CPK file from the ZIP, drop the CPK into the ux0:rePatch/PCSG00351/ folder.
Note: Using rePatch will allow the patch to work on all versions of the game - Mai, Vitamin, retail cart/download, and NoNpDRM.
