IceTea allows you to convert your old PSX CD's for use in the Sony PSP system.

It is also capable of creating the corresponding ingame manuals as well as changing the menu appearance. You may also re-extract the ISO from your converted games.

IceTea was built in mind to incorporate all the good features regarding the PSX<->PSP converters into one single package.

User guide

Simply execute IceTea, everything is well explained so you shouldn't have a hard time figuring out the workflow.

When you've converted an image, plug your PSP USB cable in and make a new directory in /PSP/GAME/ eg. "ResidenEvil".

Then copy over your newly built eboot to /PSP/GAME/ResidentEvil/.

The manual must also be placed in the same directory as the eboot and named "document.dat" otherwise the PSP is not able to detect it.

Notes:

  • You'll need the OE firmwares from Dark_Alex (at least 3.03 OE-C).
  • Does not work with the official 3.03 firmware from Sony.
  • Attempting to run the generated eboots prior to 3.03 OE-C will fail.
