Circular Canon is a button pressing game based on the author's previous project Quick Push.
This version receives a significant overhaul of the graphics and revised game rules, derived from the musical concept "singing in canon".
User guide
The game is inspired by the concept of circular canon, it's a technique in choir singing where groups of people sing the same melody, but each group starts the melody at a different time.
Upon starting the game, you'll be prompted to choose a level. The difference between the levels lies in the number of keys used during the game. EASY mode uses only the directional arrow keys (4 keys), while HARD mode employs a combination of the directional arrow keys and the A/B buttons (6 keys). After selecting a level and pressing Start, the game begins.
Initially, marks will scroll from the right to the center of the screen. After a while, they'll scroll out to the left, and new marks will start scrolling in from the right. Up to this point, it's all automatic, so you won't have any control.
Once those marks scroll out to the left, marks will scroll in from above and a question mark (?) from below. This is when the real challenge begins.
In this game, you need to input the mark that appeared two steps ago - essentially, the mark that was shown first. If you press the correct button, the next mark will scroll in, and you'll need to input the mark that was second in line this time.
