Nestopiax v1.5 SCE (Special Scanline Edition)

What's new/fixed/changed/broke

    • Nintendo World Championships now defaults to the official tournament time instead of 5 minutes. A timer is in the works to be displayed on the screen as well in a future version.
    • Added a special "Composite NTSC filter with scanlines" in place of the ntsc composite filter. ONLY for htdv users at the moment. This is as about as good as it gets. Give it a try and see for yourself. :) Remember at the moment this filter is ONLY for hdtv users. Thanks to Blargg for all the help and information.
    • Added 3 different xbe files to choose from:

1.) An xbe for users who want maximum scanlines 2.) An xbe for users who want scanlines set to 25 percent 3.) An xbe for users who want scanlines set to 50 percent (best one in my opinion)

Thanks to philexile i found a post he made that REALLY makes the new filter shine, set the accurate pixel ratio, then turn the tv to 16:9 aspect. However it looks just as good in 4:3.

    • Added a universal accurate pixel ratio setting for ALL users. This is in the video options where "pixel perfect" used to be. A BIG! Thank you gillou for finding the correct settings.
    • Corrected an issue with xml cheat files sometimes crashing nestopiax on game startup or not working if they were named in all caps
    • Added Blarggs background fix for the ntsc filter, this corrects the way an nes displayed graphics on the sides of the screen. In other words, more accurate video display for the way an nes displayed overscan on the sides.
