PresenceClient-Rewritten is a tool that allows you to set your Discord rich presence using SwitchPresence-Rewritten or QuestPresence by running the app on your PC. It can be used to customize your status on Discord to show what you're playing on your Nintendo Switch or Oculus Quest device.

Setup

To set up PresenceClient-Rewritten, follow these steps:

  1. Create an application on the Discord Developer Portal. Name your application "Nintendo Switch", "Oculus Quest", or any other name you prefer.
  2. Enter your Client ID and your device's IP address into PresenceClient. This will allow the app to connect with your Discord account and update your rich presence accordingly.
    • For QuestPresence, the icon name will be the application name in lowercase with no spaces. There are some exceptions, which can be found here. Note the CustomName field, and format it using the instructions provided for your icon name. If an app has a filled CustomKey field, use that instead of the formatted CustomName.
    • For SwitchPresence, the icon name will be the application title ID. You can dump these icons using the manager app included in the SwitchPresence release. The dumped icons will be formatted for you to upload directly to your Discord Developer application.
  3. To connect, you will need your device's IP address. For QuestPresence, this can be found on the main application page. For SwitchPresence, you can find it in the connection settings of your Nintendo Switch device.

Support

If you need further assistance or support, you can find help on the project's Discord server.
