This program searches the 2nd slot, the GBA slot, for content. The corresponding extension is named on the upper screen.

Since a 2nd slot is required, this application only supports the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite.

Installation

Note: Please use it at your own risk.

Copy the .nds file to the SD of your flash card.

User guide

Insert a supported extension into the GBA slot and start the flash card with the application on the DS. A specific tone will then be played indicating whether a device has been recognized.

It supports the following extensions:

Guitar Hero Grip.
The Motion Pack.
The Taito Paddle.
The Rumble Pack.

If an extension is not supported, the upper screen will show Nothing in Slot-2.

Known issues

The detection of the Rumble Pack does not seem to work properly. You can still make this addon vibrate by pressing the A key. This function has been tested with the emulator and the official DS Lite Rumble Pack. With other expansions, pressing the A key has no effect.

The DS Lite Guitar (copy of the Guitar Hero Controller) is not recognized correctly.

Compatibility

Extensions other than Rumble Pack and DS Lite Guitar were only tested on the emulator.
