A simple top-down maze game, where the objective is to collect four gems, obtain the key, and reach the gate for the next level.

Features

  • A score counter (3 8x8 sprites).
  • One 16x16 ghost sprite.
  • Two 256x256 maps.
  • 16x16 walking grid.
  • Collision detection, for map and sprites.
  • Background scrolling.
  • Some fades and dma transfers.

User guide

Collect four gems within the maze, after that a key will appear somewhere, find it and then you can go to the next level (by walking through the door/gate).

The is a score counter in the top left corner, it shows how many gems you've collected. The game has a total of six levels.

Compatibility

Tested by the author with VisualBoyAdvance (works fine) and BoycottAdvanc (a little slow).

It has not been tested on hardware.
