Sonic Vitality is a Sonic fangame, it was developed at an irregular pace since August 2019 and totalling an estimated 3,000+ hours of actual work.

Sonic Vitality is available as a playable demo for Windows and HENkaku-enabled Vita systems. You can also download the project files for both platforms to freely modify them. Any assets that are finished and can be legally/ethically distributed have been released for public use, and several outline documents written for personal use have also been released.

Installation

Install the VPK on your homebrew enabled PS Vita or PS TV.

(Optional) Using PSVshell for improved performance:

  • After the game finishes loading (indicated by the disclaimer screen appearing) press Select and Up (D-Pad) to open PSVshell.
  • Press Cross while highlighting "CPU" and use the D-pad to adjust the clock to 500 MHz.
  • No performance is gained by overclocking the GPU, so there’s no need to adjust it.
  • Press Select and Down (D-Pad) to close the PSVshell menu, or press Select and Up (D-Pad) again to display framerate during gameplay.

Square+Left Analog - Super Peel Out

Compatibility

Recommended for PS Vita/PS TV 3.60 with HENkaku/Ensō. Other firmware versions may work, but 3.60 is somewhat standardized in the Vita homebrew scene, so you're best off using that. If you haven't installed CFW on your Vita before, please refer to the official guide over at vita.hacks.guide. Do not refer to any other guides, especially YouTube guides. These are often outdated, and may lead to bricking your Vita if followed.
