PSPAtari - irkb is an update of PSPAtari 1.0.7, with the addition of support for Wireless IR keyboards.

User guide

The current supported Wireless Keyboards are:

  • Targus Universal Wireless Keyboard.
  • Palm Universal Wireless Keyboard.
  • Palm Wireless Keyboard.

The Stowaway Wireless keyboard probably works with the Palm Wireless settings, but it is not tested. The codes for the Palm Universal Wireless was obtained from the xls provided by TyDoPad. Palm Universal is also untested.

Enable the keyboard from the Settings > Enable IR Keyboard submenu.

Addition keys to note are:

  • Alt-z: Option
  • Alt-x: Select
  • Alt-z: Start
  • Alt-c: Reset
  • Alt-v: Help
  • Alt-a: F1
  • Alt-s: F2
  • Alt-d: F3
  • Alt-f: F4
  • Alt-g: Esc
  • Alt-h: UI

If there are any issues with the emulator, please check that it has the same problems in the non IRKB build. It could well be that the IR code broke something.

Note: Very bright direct fluorescent lighting will cause the IR detector on the PSP to behave badly, triggering keypress events.
