PSP Power Controller, also referred as pwrCtrl, is a plugin that aims to easily operate the power supply of the PSP main unit by using the set hotkeys. It uses libmenu to display characters.
It has been entered to the PSP Genesis Competition 2011.
Installation
Place pwrctrl.prx and lib folder in the seplugins folder on your PSP.
Modify vsh.txt, game.txt and/or pops.txt (optional if you want to use it in PSX games) from your seplugins folder and add either one of the following line to the text files respective to your PSP.
For PSP, append this line to the text files
ms0:/seplugins/pwrctrl.prx 1
For PSP Go, add this line to the text files instead
ef0:/seplugins/pwrctrl.prx 1
Note: Please use at your own risk.
User guide
How to use
With this plugin you can turn off the power or toggle sleep mode of your PSP with the touch of a button.
It comes with a set of default settings which can be configured from pwr_ctrl.ini (or change the combo key settings from the menu).
Configuration file
Below are the default combination key settings you will find in pwr_ctrl.ini. If ini file is not found, it will be created automatically.

Sleep Mode:
- When you press (*1) and (*2) simultaneously, PSP and then to sleep.
Reboot Mode:
- When you press (*1) and (*3) simultaneously, Restart your PSP.
- Keeping Hen Mode.
Shutdown Mode:
- When you press (*1) and (*4) simultaneously, Turn off your PSP.
- LCFW or HEN is return to OFW.
Battery log output switch:
- When you press (*1) and (*5) simultaneously, Switch to battery log output status.
- Log icon appears on the left screen.
All Display Status Switch:
- When you press (*1) and (*6) simultaneously, Toggles the visibility of any information on the screen.
Timer set:
- When you press (*1) and (*7) simultaneously, The timer controls the state.
- Timer icon appears on the left screen. IdleTimer(Auto) just can not control.
- Set the timer can be from the menu.
Brightness Setting:
- When you press (*1) and (*8) simultaneously, Adjust the brightness on the PSP screen.
- Set the Brightness can be from the menu.
Menu:
- When you press (*1) and (*9) simultaneously, Display the setup menu.
- You can set detailed items.
