How it Works
This utilizes the Wii U's tendency to redownload missing files during a System Update,
So this homebrew will remove Files that can be redownloaded and forces a System Update.
How to Use
Select an option from the menu and confirm with Start.
After the mode finishes, press any button to launch System Settings for the update.
The update folder is recreated if deleted; delete it again to block updates.
Menu options | Actions |
---|---|
Light Mode | Redownloads essential System Titles, including all IOS. |
Aggressive Mode | Removes everything, including Save Data and Installed Channels. |
Force Update | Forces an update that may redownload missing files. |
Regenerate setting.txt | Regenerates setting.txt, unrecoverable by other modes, based on the console's region and serial from the Wii U mode. |
