Supah Princess Defender! is an OpenBOR mod where the gameplay is top-down, much like a Zelda game.

It is heavily inspired by the Xbox Live Indie game, Protect Me Knight, it is a game where you defend a Princess.

Installation

Simply use the eboot provided. Place the .pak file into PSP/Game/OpenBOR/Paks/.

If you are playing it on other platform, the recommended OpenBOR version is 3.3692.

User guide

Gameplay

In Supah Princess Defender!, you can be hit an infinite amount of times without dying; however, if the Princess loses all of her health, the game is over.

You can move about all of the screen. The Princess will always be located in the middle, and enemies will spawn from almost everywhere. Your objective is to defeat wave after wave of enemies, and keep the Princess safe. If she goes down, you all do.

Characters

As of this first demo, there are four playable characters:

  • Warrior - The basic character. Has decent range and power.
  • Black Wizard - The offensive mage. Shoots homing attack fireballs; but they are limited in range.
  • Dragoon - The spear user. Has very short attack width, but very long attack length.
  • Link - The Hero of Hyrule. Shortest attack range of all characters, but has the highest power. The last attack of his combo is a sword beam.

Controls

The only button used aside from the directional keys is the Attack button.

Be sure to set the controls in Options > Control Options > Setup Player #.
