This is a fan translation patch for Naruto RPG 2 - Chidori vs Rasengan (ナルトRPG2 - 千鳥VS螺旋丸) by Anime Game Translations Team.

Naruto RPG 2: Chidori vs. Rasengan is the second installment in the Naruto RPG series, released in 2005. It is a sequel to Path of the Ninja with a story that covers events from the "Search for Tsunade" arc through the "Sasuke Recovery Mission." Unlike its predecessor and sequel, which were officially localized as Naruto: Path of the Ninja 1 and Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2, this game was not released outside Japan.

The translation patch comes in two versions: one with the original Japanese voices and one with the English dub cast.

Installation

The patch is distributed in xdelta format.

You can apply the patch with either xdelta UI (Win), Delta Patcher (Win/Linux) or MultiPatch (macOS).

Translation notes:

Due to space limitations, some jutsu/item names had to be cut down so do not match their Path of the Ninja counterparts.
In the original game, messages from Japanese fans could be found spread throughout the Ninja Academy. Rather than translate these directly, we used the opportunity to ask members of our Discord server to submit their own messages, which can be read by interacting with the blue scrolls hanging on the walls in various rooms.
