This is an unofficial translation for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. This is complete for the most part, a lot of monster names and item names have changed, so it may take some time to get used to.
Two methods of patching are provided. One is in the form of a patcher that targets an ISO, while the other is a plugin to be loaded by a PSP with Custom Firmware. Some translated DLC quests are also included.

Connect your PSP (or plug in your Memory Stick) to your PC, back up your game save if you have one (go into /PSP/SAVEDATA/ and copy the ULJM05800 folder to your PC).
Now to install the patch, unzip the archive and go to /mhp3Plugin/SEPLUGINS/, copy the whole mhp3_loader to the seplugins folder on your PSP.
Add the following line to game.txt in the same seplugins folder.
For PSP Fat & Slim
ms0:/seplugins/mhp3rd_loader/mhp3patch.prx 1
For PSP Go
ef0:/seplugins/mhp3rd_loader/mhp3patch.prx 1
(Optional) The DLC quests translations are to be placed in the SAVEDATA folder of the Memory Stick.
After that, switch the PSP off by holding the power slider/button, then switch it back on again.

Compatibility
This should work on latest CFW.
Known issues
When you try to view the skills of a piece of armor that is not compatible with your weapon then view the skill summary, it will be blank. This is because the game figures there's no point displaying any skills (as the equipment is incompatible). It displays a blank screen without the patch, so there's no string to translate.
