Kurohyou 2: Ryu ga Gotoku Ashura Hen (English Patched) - PSP Gameplay (PPSSPP) 1080p 60fps (Asteria)
Compatibility
You can use this via an emulator such as PPSSPP to play on PC or Android phones, or you can also use real hardware (which is our recommendation).
To play on real hardware you will need to have custom firmware and the ability to run ISO files, but once you can, just use this patched ISO as any normal game ISO.
Known issues
You may encounter certain graphical and other major glitches on PPSSPP, some common issues include:
- Character models showing through solid backgrounds.
- Text boxes closing automatically.
- Potential random crashes.
- Difficulty in chasing segments.
It is recommended saving before boss fights because sometimes levelling up can cause a crash on both emulator and real hardware. If this does occur, go back and select a style that is already max level and then complete the boss fight. This will not happen often hopefully but it is worth saving just in case. Outside of boss fights it does not appear to be an issue
If you are having difficulty in chasing segments:
- Open PPSSPP and go into your settings.
- Go to the System tab.
- Find 'Change emulated PSP's CPU Clock (unstable)'.
- Change it to a value around 50 or lower if need be.
- Save state and then quickly load that save state.
- Continue with the chase, the framerate will be quite low.
- After the chase is done, undo those settings, save state and load state again.
- Your game should be back to normal.
