This is an unofficial conversion of Goldrunner, one of the first ever released vertical shoot 'em up scrollers for the Atari ST.

It uses the graphics from the Atari version and samples from the Amiga version.

User guide

The fate of men hangs in the balance. The Earth is dying. A mass migration to a new world must be accomplished if humanity is to survive.

But between the ravaged Earth and this new Eden stand the rings of the worlds of Triton - a hostile race with a technology of millions of civilizations. They destroy any form of intelligent life that approaches, jealously guarding their piece of universe.

No one dared disturb their solitude. But now HE must dare.

Goldrunner, he will have to fight to the last enemy. He must destroy. He must trace the route through the rings for the Earth fleet. It is stronger than steel. It is harder than iron. He is the Goldrunner. They are ruthless. They are omnipotent. But they must be defeated.

Only one is worthy of the Goldrunner title. Only one can lead humanity to its golden age. Only one can win this last battle. Will you be this one?

The objective of the game is to destroy as many buildings on the ground as possible to open the passage to the next world, the icon at the top disappears gradually, when the door is opened, "OK" is displayed and there is nothing left more than to cross the gate.
