Skool Daze is an adventure game based on the ZX Spectrum game Skool Daze.

It was an entry to the GBADev compertition.

User guide

The game features the player as a schoolboy named Eric, with the objective of stealing his report card out of the staff room safe by accomplishing various tasks around the school. The computer controls all the other characters in the game, including the headmaster, other teachers and other pupils.

If Eric is caught out of class or otherwise misbehaving, teacher characters pursue him and issue lines. When 10,000 lines or more are accumulated, the game ends with Eric's expulsion.

Controls

Left/Right - Walk

A - Jump to collect shield/other items, Turn on/off lights

B - Hold and release to shoot catapult

Up+Left - Go upstairs

Down+Right - Go downstairs

Down+A - Sit on the floor/chair

Down+B - Bend over and collect item on the floor (1 item only)

Start - Restart game
