Navy Wars it’s the classic battleship game for Nintendo DS. This is the first game made with libs for C & DS, NightFox’s Lib. This version it’s recompiled with lastest devkitArm libs and now works with CycloDS Evo I in DSi mode.

It got the 3rd place on Scenery Beta 2009 Homebrew International Showcase compo.

Installation

  1. Download and extract file
  2. Copy it to the root directory of the card

Can play on DS emulator, like no$gba. This games uses NitroFS file system, if flashcard don’t supports ”Argv”, run it through Homebrew Menu from Drunken Coders.

Objectives

The goal of the game it’s simple, sink all enemy boats before your foe destroy yours units.

User guide

When using the most common rules for this game, one shot per turn, without the option to continue shooting if you hit. Every player has 6 boats, 1 of 4 tiles, 2 of 3 tiles and 3 of 2 tiles.

Once all boats are placed on the stage, in the desired position and direction, game starts.

To shot, just touch with the stylus the tile where we think a enemy ship hides. If miss, we just see a shot in the water, if hit, a explosion comes. The enemy ship will be invisible until it was totally destroyed.
