It was submitted to the Neo Summer Coding Compo 2006 (PSP Games).

User guide Smash the button to destroy opponent's ship before yours get destroyed.
Aside from some new features, there are also a couple of new game modes in the latest version, Sink and Madness.
In Sink mode, the main goal is to sink your enemy by chucking rocks at them. Of course, your enemy's gonna throw rocks right back at you, so dodge 'em to make him lose stability. If you happen to start losing stability too, you can press the Triangle button to recover.
The second game mode, Madness, is an all-out shootfest. All you have to do is mash the shoot button, shooting as fast as you can while trying to not hit your pals.
You can unlock PSPirates v5's new game modes by completing trial mode first. After doing so, check in the gallery to see if they've been unlocked successfully.
You can choose the new game mode at the game selector.
