- Graphical interface redone with integration of customizable themes (includes 2 original themes: "PSPNOTES" and "IPHONE").

- The first time you use PSPNotes, you will need to set it up (the options menu will open automatically).
- The number of notes is no longer limited; after 10 notes, the list will scroll based on input.

- Integration of the Danzeff keyboard (much more practical and easier to use than the original!).
- First release of "Notes for PSPNotes creator", a PC application (in C) that allows you to easily create notes and automatically copy them to the correct folder on your PSP.
- Ability to insert a comment for a note.
- Ability to name a note.
- Tool to delete all notes (in the menu).
- Note file extension is now ".tpn" (TextPspNotes), so you can easily tell if it's a PSPNotes note or a file copied from the PC (e.g., .txt or .lua).
- To save space, information about the actions of different buttons in the menu is no longer directly visible; you need to press L to view them.
- Ability to visit the website from the credits section.
- Ability to go 3 notes forward/backward with left/right buttons.
- If a file's extension is not ".tpn", it is displayed.
- Option to save the language setting in flash1 (this way, you won’t need to reset the language after every update—optional for those who are worried).

- Added USB mode (select in the menu).
- Interface redesigned (a major change in the "pre-menu" and a minor update in the menu and credits).
- More notes available at once in the menu.
- If you exit the keyboard without typing anything, no note will be created (before, it created a note with the name "blank").
- Extensions are no longer displayed in the menu (the .txt files).
- The different note reading modes have been updated:
- Up to 35 characters: 1 line
- Up to 70 characters: 2 lines
- Up to 100 characters: 3 lines
- More than 100 characters: displayed in a system message!
- Added sounds in the menu.
- Username displayed at the top, above the title (no more issues with long usernames).
- Battery indicator displayed in other functions, and the display bug has been fixed.
