An English translation project for Dragon Quest X Awakening Five Races Offline that not only adapts, but also expands and refines the original translation done by DQXClarity.

While this translation shares a glossary with DQXClarity, many portions, such as the UI, have been done from the ground-up.

This ensures consistency when switching from Offline to Online modes, or vice versa, as many terms (including items, characters, etc.) will remain the same. However, you can also expect to find several enhancements and improvements beyond this.

Installation

Note: Please make sure you are running the latest game version (v2.0.1). If you are running an older version (v1.0.x) of the game and cannot update, you will also need the "No DLC Compatibility Patch" listed under "Miscellaneous Files".

Switch (physical)

  • Download the files marked "For Switch version".
  • Unzip the mod into sd:/atmosphere/contents/
  • The resulting path should be sd:/atmosphere/contents/0100E2E0152E4000/romfs/Holiday/Content/Paks/

Switch (yuzu)

  • Download the files marked "For Switch version".
  • Right click the game in Yuzu's game list, then "Open Mod Directory".
  • It will open a window with this path: (yuzu_directory)/load/0100E2E0152E4000/
  • Unzip the mod and copy the English_Translation folder in this directory.
  • The resulting path should be (yuzu_directory)/load/0100E2E0152E4000/English_Translation/romfs/Holiday/Content/Paks/

Switch (ryujinx)

  • Download the files marked "For Switch version".
  • Right click the game in Ryujinx's game list, then "Open Mod Directory"
  • It will open a window with this path (ryujinx_directory)\mods\contents\0100E2E0152E4000\
  • Unzip the mod and copy the English_Translation folder in this directory.
