Charge Control is a simple plugin that can disable/enable the PSP charging functions. This can be useful if you are connecting the PSP to a power source and don't really want to charge the battery.
A note this will work only till the PSP is powered on. Once you turn off the device, the settings will reset to default, and the battery will start charging again.
Installation
Copy the charge_ctrl.prx file to ms0:/seplugins/.
Open vsh.txt, game.txt and pops.txt in ms0:/seplugins/ (create the text files if they don't already exist).
Add the following line to the text files
ms0:/seplugins/charge_ctrl.prx
Enable the plugin from the Recovery Menu and reset VSH for the changes to take effect.
Controls
L+R+Volumn Down - Disable battery charging (will remain until power off)
L+R+Volumn Up - Enable battery charging
