Back in the Wii modding days, there were tons of cool mods, like New Super Mario Bros. with its remakes of old levels and brand-new maps, Super Smash Bros. Brawl with its ever-growing mod scene adding new fighters, maps, music, and more, and Mario Kart Wii mods, which led to the creation of the famous “CTGP” hacks for Mario Kart.
Since then, CTGP mods have been made for every Mario Kart game, starting with the Wii, then Mario Kart 7 (CTGP-7), and now Mario Kart 8 with the CTGP Deluxe mod for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
CTGP Deluxe brings a bunch of new tracks to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, including old Mario Kart tracks from the SNES, GBA, 3DS, and other games, tracks from other racing games like Diddy Kong Racing, new tracks inspired by levels from non-racing games like Sonic Unleashed, and completely new custom maps made just for CTGP Deluxe.
Installation
What you need:
- A modded Nintendo Switch.
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe updated to the latest version (3.0.1).
- The latest version of CTGP Deluxe.
Instructions:
- Delete any other Mario Kart 8 Deluxe mods, including any previous version of CTGP Deluxe.
- Extract contents of the ZIP file into the root of your SD card.
- It is strongly recommend playing on EmuMMC.
