Port of the ZX Spectrum game of the same name.
It was entered into Bung Enterprises 2nd Gameboy Coding Competition.
User guide
When the game begins, after company and team logos, you can see a small menu with three options:
- START - Begins the game.
- LEVEL: EASY - Toggles between EASY and HARD difficulty.
- CREDITS - Displays information about the creators.
After level choosing, you will start the game. All game process are controlled with cursor (shinning arrow).
Interface
The game interface includes:
- A TIME/ENERGY bar on the left.
- A central MAGIC STONE BARRIER with 36 colored, numbered stones. The main gamefield.
- A heart icon in the top-right corner indicating the number of lives.
- A schematic of four SHAFTS below the heart for placing stones.
- A HANDS area further below for holding one stone.
- Four buttons: BACK, STOP, REFRESH, and MUSIC.
Button functions:
- BACK - Return a STONE to the BARRIER. This option will DECREASE energy level (not available on HARD level).
- STOP - Restart the game (go main menu).
- REFRESH - Randomly regenerate MAGIC STONE BARRIER. All the stones will be replaced in random order. This option will DERCREASE quantity of lives.
- MUSIC - Toggle music on/off.
Game rules
There are only 4 rules:
- Complete the level by placing all STONES into the SHAFTS.
- Place STONES in the order from 1 to 9, one per SHAFT.
- You can take STONE and drop it to SHAFT if this stone are from the LEFT EDGE of the BARRIER.
- You can replace the stones at the MAGIC STONE BARRIER by moving a stone to the HAND and then placing it in an empty field on the left, next to a stone with the same number.
