Phase PSP

A platformer about gaining inertia.

It was an entry for Re:Start! The 2022 Game Jam (10th place).

Installation

There is a build for PSP and another for emulator because of the way they handle paths.

The game's folder is called compilation. Do not rename.

Basic:

Left/Right - Move

Cross - Jump

Down+Cross - Fall abruptly while in air

L - Slow motion and access to hook

Start - Pause

Select - Reset current level

While in slow motion (L+):

L+Left/right - Aim hook

L+Square - Shoot hook

L+Cross - Release hook (while hooked)

L+Up/Down - Decrease/Increase length of hook (while hooked)

While paused:

D-Pad - Move camera across level

Circle - Quit to main menu

It's recommended to play on the PSP. The emulator doesn't like it much when the draw buffer is accessed directly, causing it to lag a bit.
