ONCE UPON A TIME ...Santa Claus lived in a cabin in the middle of the forest with their
elves, called Duyus, and all of them keep protected the Spirit of Christmas.
One day, Santa went to fishing, and the mean Shivery Bear, decided to eliminate the Spirit of Christmas and steal the Christmas Stars.
To make sure that nobody was able to found them again she hide them around the world. When Santa returned home he stared horrorized that not only the Spirit of Christmas had been stolen, but whithout the light of the Christmas Stars the Duyus turned into little blocks.When Santa saw this, he knew that he needed to do something. He decided to battle the Shivery Bear and his evil minions to return the Spirit of Christmas.
Can Santa defeat the Shivery Bear, release the Duyus from his curse, and rescue the Christmas Stars? It's all up to you and Santa's skill.
Languages
Duyumania is presented in English, Français (French) and Español (Spanish). The language displayed will depend on the language you have selected in the system settings.
Controls
Control Pad
- Moves Santa. After entering on Puzzle mode, you can scroll the map view.
- Moves the cursor on selection screen.
START Button
- Starts the game.
- Pauses the game.
- Enters selections on the selection screen.
SELECT Button
- Changes selections on the selection screen.
- Changes the music (when it's avalaible).
L Button & R Button
- When in an action screen, L and R Buttons enters on Puzzle Mode. Then the L button is used to confirm the current Duyus and close, and R button to cancel and close.
A Button
- Makes Santa Claus jump.
- After entering on Puzzle mode, you can scroll the map view to the right.
- Enters selections on selection screen.
B Button
- Makes Santa Claus jump.
- Lets you cancel on the selection screen.
X Button
- Pauses the game.
Y Button
- After entering on Puzzle mode, you can scroll the map view to the left.
- Pauses the game.
Touch Screen
- When in an action screen, enters on Puzzle Mode.
- After entering on Puzzle mode, you can put a Duyu touching a box.
- After entering on Puzzle mode, you can erase a Duyu touching it.
- After entering on Puzzle mode, you can scroll the map view.
- Navigates on selection screen.
Drawing
The remaining ink for each color is displayed on the corresponding gauge, on the upper screen. The number of lines is limited as well, and represented by the small icons between the two ink gauges.
The available quantity of ink and lines is specific to each level.
Saving progress
If a stage is cleared, the progress of the game, and score for that stage will be saved automatically in the Save Slot.
You can delete the data in the slot by selecting "Erase All Data" at the Title Screen. And after selecting and restarting a save slot you will play from the Start.
This game has a save function to record the progress of the game on the SD card of your flashcard. Avoid deleting the game save (Duyumania.dsv) on the SD Card or data may be lost.
If your flashcard does not save games you may have to patch the rom with DLDI:
