CavEX is a homebrew port of Minecraft beta version 1.7.3 that has been modified to run on the Nintendo Wii, allowing players to experience the game on the console.
Description
The project has made significant progress since the last video update and is currently nearing completion of a new release. It is now possible to load any Minecraft beta world in MCRegion format, with plans to add the ability to save worlds soon. Similar to the original game, the worlds have no size limitation and are considered "infinite". The game currently has around 90% of all blocks implemented, with only some redstone-related blocks missing, and some items have been added as well, although none of them have game logic behind them yet.
The game also features a day-night cycle with sun and moon, and blocks update lighting when placed or destroyed, such as a torch in a cave. The developer took some weeks off over the Christmas period, which caused a delay in updates.
Installation
You only need to extract the contents to the root of your SDcard.
Controls
D-Pad: move camera
A: move down
B: move up
1 or 2: change time
Nunchuk joystick: rotate camera
Nunchuk C: place block
Nunchuk Z: destroy block
