The MP3+G Player for Wii is designed for playing MP3+G karaoke files. This format consists of two files, an MP3 audio file and a CDG file that displays lyrics and graphics. To work correctly, both files must have the same base name.

Installation

Installation of the files can be done in any directory on the SD card, USB drive, or DVD (ISO9660/Joliet) or on a SMB network resource.

Control

To control the MP3+G player, you can use the following buttons:

  • Select a song from the menu with the "A" button
  • Go back to the previous directory with the "B" button
  • Scroll through the menu with the up and down buttons
  • Exit from the song to the menu or from the menu to the HBC using the Home button
  • Reload the SD card with button 1
  • Reload the DVD (DVDX required) with button 2
  • Reload the USB drive with the "+" button
  • Go to the main screen to select the drive with the "-" button

Pending Things

  • Scroll commands (Preset and Copy)
  • Microphone?
