This is a remake of Slime Volleyball for the PSP. Slime Volleyball is, as the name suggests, a volleyball style game where two slimes or blobs hit a ball between each other.

There has been many modifications/variants of the Slime Volleyball, including Soccer Slime, Power Slime, Basketball Slime, Boxing Slime and even 3D Slime. If you are interested in finding out about the history of Slime Volleyball, visit it's official homepage at https://oneslime.net/

This version of Slime Volleyball is the original two player version, created by Quin Pendragon and Daniel Wedge. It is a half 'port' from the original Java source code, Slime Volleyball 2 Player, to Lua. It features a menu, credits and easy exit, scoring and much more.

Installation

In order to play Slime Volleyball PSP, you need to use Cool's LUA Player modification, as Slime Volleyball PSP requires more memory in order to avoid running in slow-motion.

User guide

To play Slime Volleyball, you will need a second person, one for either end of the PSP. The objective of the game is to reach 10 points, which means that your opponent will have none.

To gain a point, defeat your opponent by making it land on the ground. As you play more, you will develop more tactics into the best ways to do this and how to control for such a move.

You can also gain a point if your opponent mucks up a shot, resulting in them dropping the ball. Watch out however! If you are scored against, or you too muck up a shot, you will lose a point.

When one player gains a point, the other will lose. This means that to win, one player needs to reach 10, and the other 0, as both players start on 5 points each.

Controls

Player 1:

Left/Right - Move left/right

Up - Jump

Down - Select/Continue/Confirm

Player 2:

Square/Circle - Move left/right

Triangle - Jump

Cross - Select/Continue/Confirm

Note: When a round has ended, both players are required to press the Down button, to avoid one player from starting the next round before the other is ready.
