Plants Eat My Zombies is platform action game in the style of Mario Bros. with some very fun mechanics.

It was one of the contest entries for the GBJam 10.

Features

Installation

This game can be played in the browser or downloaded as a ROM from itch.io.

The ROM can can be played on an emulator of your choice or on original Game Boy.

User guide

Dr. Fungen plans to destroy humanity with an army of Zombies but a nearby nuclear power plant has exploded making the local plants aggressive.

They have caused destruction and have devoured the brains needed to create the Zombie army. You must kill the Plants and recover the brains to complete Dr. Fungen's masterpiece.

Controls

D-Pad - Movement, Climb

A - Jump

B - Spray, Throw

Start - Pause menu
