nnu-patcher allows you to start the Nintendo eShop on a lower firmware, if you have your firmware spoofed to the latest one available. This NNU patcher was created for The Homebrew Launcher. It is much more stable and allows you to start/exit eShop as you like.

Note: This is a test release, please use at your own risk.

Installation

Extract the zip file to sd:/wiiu/apps/nnupatcher.

  • sd:/wiiu/apps/nnupatcher/nnupatcher.elf
  • sd:/wiiu/apps/nnupatcher/meta.xml

User guide

Run nnupatcher from Homebrew Launcher. It should automatically redirect you to the Home Menu.

That's it, you can now use the eShop.

You should use Tubehax DNS and be spoofed to the latest firmware available for this to work (5.5.1 as the time of writing).

To uninstall, just reboot the console or start Mii Maker, it will return you to The Homebrew Launcher and restore the patches it made.

Compatibility

Tested on 5.4-5.5.1, all other firmwares are untested.

  • This is a test release. Might be unstable, cause bugs, whatever. I'm not responsible for any updates/bricks that happen to your console, that's completely your responsibility.

Credits

  • @dimok for the HBL, the app skeleton and for his help in general.
