The REminiscence (flashback) engine was originally developed by Gregory Montoir and has now been ported to the Nintendo Switch.
It serves as a cross-platform alternative to the original executable and is a revamped version of the engine used in Delphine Software's game, Flashback.
Installation
- copy "REminiscence.nro" from "REminiscence-1.0_switch.zip" to "/switch/REminiscence/" folder
- copy "DATA" folder from "flashback_data.zip" to "/switch/REminiscence/" folder
Data Files
To access the background music during polygonal cutscenes in the PC version of the game, you must have the original files from the PC (DOS or CD) or Amiga release. Additionally, you can copy the music/ directory from the Amiga version or use the .mod fileset from unexotica.
If you want to listen to the voice during in-game dialogues, you will require the 'VOICE.VCE' file from the SegaCD version, which you must copy to the DATA directory.
