QuadForce is a custom MIOS for the Nintendo Wii developed by Crediar that enables users to play four popular Triforce Arcade games - Mario Kart Arcade GP, Mario Kart Arcade GP 2, F-Zero AX, and Virtua Striker 4 Ver.2006 - directly from an SD card or USB device.

Get a complete guide on setting up QuadForce, a custom MIOS for the Nintendo Wii that allows you to play four popular Triforce Arcade games directly from an SD card or USB device, by clicking here. This guide is designed to help those who own a Wii, have the Homebrew Channel installed, and know how to install WADs.

The latest builds of Nintendont Wii support Triforce games now, so it is no longer necessary to use QuadForce.

Installation

Real-NAND:

  • Simply use any WAD installer of your choice and install the quadforce.wad

EMU-NAND:

  • When using SNEEK r195 or higher you can copy the quadforce.bin to:
usb:/sneek/quadforce.bin

otherwise you have to copy it to:

usb:/title/00000001/00000100/content/00000008.app (When using MIOSv10)

Useful Information

When starting F-Zero AX it askes you to calibrate the controls, circle the analog stick around and press A/B after that press Start.

When starting Virtua Strike 4 it askes you to calibrate the controls, circle the analog stick around and press Start.

In the case a WaveBird controller isn't working for you simply hold any button while quadforce is loading until the game shows up.

The name entry in Mario Kart GP 1 is very sensitive try pressing the A button as short as possible.

When choosing not to continue in Mario Kart GP 1&2 the game will get stuck, your savedata is not lost if you turn off even though Mario Kart GP 1 says it is still saving.
