XMBShell is a shell for your PSP with a XMB menu, developed by Total_Noob.

It was one of the contest entries for the Neo Spring Coding Compo 2009 (PSP Applications).

  • Connect USB ms0, flash0, flash1, flash2, flash3 or UMD disc.
  • Change photo, music, video and game paths.
  • Change CPU speed in music player (75, 100, 133, 222, 266, 300 and 333).
  • Take a screenshot with Note button (music symbol).
  • Change the nickname.
  • Change CPU speed (75, 100, 133, 222, 266, 300 and 333).
  • Change password.
  • Start control function.
  • Use background as original, classic or wallpaper.
  • Enable Flash player and WMA playback.
  • Restore default settings.
  • Show system informations.
  • Show battery informations under system-settings.
  • Browse in ms0, flash0 and flash1.
  • Possibility to editing in flash0 and flash1.
  • Show free space of the Memory Stick in byte, KB or MB.
  • Show battery and time.
  • Show the version of XMBShell.
  • NEOFlash splash screen.
  • Reboot XMBshell, reset system, shutdown system, suspend system and exit XMBShell in Exit menu.

Installation

Copy the folder PSP to ms0:/ then run it from your PSP. Press Cross to install or R-Trigger to exit.

General:

Circle - Return

Home - Open Exit menu

Main menu:

Cross - Choose

D-Pad/L/R - Move

Select - Open File explorer

File explorer:

Cross - Execute file, Open folder

D-Pad - Move

L/R - Browse in ms0, flash0 or flash1

Triangle - Open File manager

Select - Close File explorer and return to Main menu

File manager:

Cross - Choose

D-Pad - Move

Triangle/Circle - Close File manager and return to File explorer

Music player:

Cross - Pause, Play song

Right - Play forward (10, 30 or 120)

Left - Play normal

Start - Go in the Battery-saver mode

Image viewer:

Triangle - Use image as wallpaper

Cross - Blit image fit to screen

Up/Down - Rotate image

Text reader:

Up/Down - Change pages

Camera:

R - Shot

Exit menu:

Cross - Choose

D-Pad - Move

Home/Circle - Close the Exit-menu and return
