The PS4 homebrew scene is gaining impressive momentum each week. While it started off slowly, we're now seeing a steady flow of exciting projects from various developers. One standout contributor is @Lapy, who continues to deliver excellent homebrew games. This time, Lapy brings us a remake of the iconic classic Duck Hunt, an excellent addition to the PS4 homebrew library.
Unlike most emulators, which struggle to replicate the NES/Famicom version due to the Zapper Gun mechanics, this remake—powered by Unity-3D—utilizes the DualShock 4’s motion controls, making it easy to relive the nostalgic experience on modern TVs. For many, Duck Hunt evokes fond memories, as it was often bundled on the same cartridge as Super Mario Bros. during the NES era. Even if you haven’t played it before, this remake is definitely worth checking out.
