The Atmosphere Vanilla Pack comprises of a pre-configured Hekate and Sigpatch combined with Atmosphere. It is designed to be a clean and minimal version without any modifications to the homebrew, source, or bootlogo.

Description

THZoria started the switch hack in 2018. At the time, they had to use paper clips to launch the RCM mode and download many .zip files to be able to launch Atmosphere, which at the time had no official release and launched only from Hekate. The famous pack called Kosmos was created and linked to the SDSetup project. Eventually, this pack died out, and new packs emerged such as deepsea, the deejay pack, and many others. However, they were all either too heavy or had custom logos imposed on them, and most users didn't know how to remove them.

THZoria proposed a pack that was vanilla, clean, without bootlogo, theme, or any imposed graphic elements. At that time, the pack was made by hand, from A to Z, whether it was the download of all the elements and their integration or the configuration of the pack. Finally, in 2020, with the help of the PoyoNX team and Nobuyoshy, the AtmoPack-Vailla Fetcher was born, a script developed in Node JS by Lunyx and Murasaki. It retrieves all the sources, puts them in the right folders, and generates a ready-to-use archive. This facilitated the implementation and distribution of the pack, and 2020 and 2021 were pivotal years for the implementation of this Fetcher that they proposed to all as modular to create packs.

THZoria thought that the project would not go any further and that they would just continue to generate the packs by doing a node index.js command as anyone would do if they got the project from github. But in 2022, thanks to the help of a developer friend, workflows, a powerful tool, but one that they didn't master at all, allowed them to improve the automation of the pack. In two commands from a PC or a phone, the pack was generated and put online on GitHub. Then, PoyoNX from PoyoNX worked hard on a project of homebrew alternative to AIO Switch Updater modulable and adapted to the AtmoPack-Vanilla to allow a simple and effective update of the latter, which was then taken over and improved by LS Atelier for the LSPack.

Now, in 2023, a lot has happened since the AtmoPack-Vanilla was created. THZoria thinks they have done enough on the creation of the pack and would like to focus on other projects always on the modding of console but not only that. This pack was made without pretension and only for them and some people on Discord. They are not a developer, just a tinkerer who knows how to manage, even if they were several people working on it to make it better as new people used it.

They had already more or less made this choice towards the end of 2022 and had discussed it with Shadow256 and NightWolf from LS Atelier. This pack was cool, but everything has an end, and this is it for them. They thank everyone for using their pack and hope to work together on future cool projects.
