SXOS is the custom firmware that ships with Team Xecuter's SX mod chips for the Nintendo Switch. There were reports that SXOS reuses a lot of tools and code readily available in other solutions such as Atmosphere (an open source, and free Custom Firmware for the Switch), although there are some users appreciate SXOS's simplicity and exclusive features such as the possibility to mount XCI games without having to install them.
In late 2020, Team Xecuter's most prominent members have been arrested, and there have been no updates on their software or website since.
In 2021, the custom firmware was hacked making it possible to run the now defunct software without having to purchase a license.
