REminiscence is an open-source implementation of the classic PC game Flashback. It is a Metroidvania-style 2D platformer made back in 1992 and was released on a ton of platforms including PC, SNES, 3DO and Sega Genesis.
The game was remade in 2013 by the original designer, but was really badly received by critics, etching the original game’s place as a cult classic that everyone should at least try once. REminiscence was also available on the PSP via homebrew, but you can now enjoy a much superior version.
