EmuODD is an emulator for the Magnavox Odyssey, an 8-bit computer from the seventies.

It is a port of the O2EM emulator.

Installation

Copy the content of this archive (with sub directories) in the root directory of the PSP Memory Stick.

Put extra roms in /roms/romsodd/ (zipped or not).

/roms/romsodd/ should also contains:

  • O2ROM.BIN - The Videopac+ bios image (not included).
  • options.cfg - Config file of this emulator.

User guide

As soon as the ROM is loaded, press the Left trigger.

Select a digit on the keyboard (this is what most games require), then press the Circle key.

Swap the joystick if required by pressing twice the Left trigger and press the Circle key again.

Controls

R - ROM selection menu

L - Switch between keyboard, 2nd Joystick, and 1st Joystick

D-Pad - Joystick directions and button (for the selected joystick)

Circle - Load rom (ROM selection menu), Input (keyboard), Change Joysitck

Select - Quit the emulator

Known issues

Executing this emulator several times results in no sound anymore until a cold reboot of the PSP.

Compatibility

It has been tested by the author on a 2.5 firmware, executed through the eLoader.
