'''Bowfishing Action!''' is a thrilling fishing game, in which you have to catch carps. * All games or applications submitted must be TOTALLY new to Wii. This implies that no project presented must have been put online on another site before the closing of the competition and must not have participated in a previous competition, otherwise it will be automatically eliminated.
* The evolution of the project can be exclusively put online on our forum during the competition (WIP, Previews, intermediate release, videos, etc).
* The splashscreen must be the first image to appear in the project and must be displayed for at least 5 seconds. Transitions or any kind of effects are allowed.
* Participants must open a topic "[Compo] Project title" in the Compo 2009 section of the forum (Games or App) and provide the forum with an archive of the project ready to be used only on Wii. Applications for the PC are therefore excluded.
* Participants can submit 1 or more projects in the 2 categories.
* The sources of the project must be sent in Private Message to one of the members of the jury and will not be distributed by us.
* The ranking of the contest will be defined by a jury of 7 people. No public vote is organized.
* The classification criteria are multiple (originality, graphics, lifespan, gameplay, personal note, stability/bug, etc...), a report will be put online after the votes.
* The results of the contest will be put online 1 month after the closing date.

Bowfishing Action! is a thrilling fishing game, in which you have to catch carps. The game has been described as a mixture between the NES games The Black Bass and Duck Hunt. The gameplay unites the soothing feeling of fishing and the the excitement of high-speed gun games. The game utilizes not only the pointing ability of the Wiimote, but also the unique motion control.
