This is my initial Xbox port of xTeeterTorture by Bill Kendrick's New Breed Software

DESCRIPTION

Teeter Torture is a simple shooting game (similar to "Space Invaders", "Galaga" or "Galaxian"), but with a unique twist. Your cannon is sitting atop a teeter totter. If it leans too far in either direction, a barrel of TNT explodes!

GAME CONTROLS

-In game-

  • DPAD/LEFT JOYSTICK = Movement
  • (B) = cannon fire
  • RIGHT TRIGGER = MUSIC VOLUME UP
  • LEFT TRIGGER = MUSIC VOLUME DOWN
  • RIGHT ANALOG CLICK = Screen resizer

Clicking BACK will quit the game and return you to the main menu as well as saving your score/volume data.

-main menu-

  • DPAD = Cycle title, game info, and high score
  • RIGHT ANALOG CLICK = Screen resizer
  • BACK = BOOT to DASH

Press any other button to start the game

-screen resizer-

Left/Right Joystick = Screen movement and Stretching Press A when done to return to game/main menu

Change Log V1.0

  • Added sound effects (original game had none)
  • Added music (original game had none)
  • Added player high score to score screen
  • Added screen resizer
  • Added Xbox save images to the save files

SO GO TO YOUR XBOX DASH AND CHECK EM OUT!!! :P

KNOWN BUG

Resizing the screen caused the enemies to look a little weird on

the first stage (when they start moving faster its not bad). This
was on an HDTV so I'm not sure about how it will look on an SD.

THANKS

Lantus for porting SDL, Hyper_Eye for updating it, and Bill Kendrick for making the original game. All the staff at EmuXtras.Net for sticking around and keeping the site active, as well as the ever growing user-base we have there. Madmab, freakdave and Hyper_Eye for trying to help me with the graphics glicth and MegaMan(?) of course for making all those SNES videos! :P
