TanksDS is a DS homebrew game inspired by artillery strategy games like Tank Wars, Pocket Tanks and Death Tanks.

It was submitted to the GBAtemp Homebrew Bounty entry in 2011.

Blast friends or foes into pieces.
Play via LAN and/or internet. Internet games are registered on a server list (no ip sharing necessary).
Kill enemies to earn money and buy new weapons.

To host online, you need to setup port forwarding for the port player chooses in the host menu. Check out here for more information.

It works well for two players but more players are not yet to be tested.

Left/Right - Turn cannon

Up/Down - Adjust power

L/R - Drive

A - Shoot

B+Left/Right - Change weapon

If you join a game in progress, the level might not be rendered during the first round.

Tank physics sometimes bugs.

Sometimes stats (scores, cash, kills, deaths) bugs.
