DORAKZ (procounced as Door Axe) is a folder creator, ISO cache remover, web browser cache remover, SAVEDATA folder cleaner and 6.60 version.txt writer for PSP. Made by Damian Bevan (aka DJBEVAN) and is compiled with MinPSP 11.2 R3 on a Microsoft Windows 8 Pro Operating System Build 9200.

This is an entry from the PSP Genesis Competition 2011.

Installation

Note: Version 1.5L is signed by the developer with EasyPBPRX.exe. Before using this homebrew, it is advised to backup your important data just in case.

To install, copy the EBOOT.PBP to your Memory Stick in ms0:/PSP/GAME/DORAKZ/.

User guide

MP3 playback:

Put a MP3 file (sound rate of 44100Hz aka 44kHz) in folder with EBOOT.PBP and name it music.mp3.

Customize Splash Screen:

The splash screen spins and you can replace it with any other image.

Put a jpg file in folder with EBOOT.PBP and name it splash.jpg.

Splash screen is resized to 480x272 on screen (No more than 512x512).

6.60 version.txt writer:

This feature will write the following to ms0:/SEplugins/version.txt.

The version.txt works with media go 1.8 (Build 121).

Just remember to activate the version.txt in recovery menu, reset the VSH and then enable USB in the XMB.

Folder Cleaner and Cache Remover:

• Remove browser history.
• Remove PIC0.PNG, PIC1.PNG, ICON1.PMF and SND0.AT3 files from SAVEDATA folder.
• Remove QUICKSPLASH file from Memory Stick.
• Remove ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/ISOCACHE.BIN from Memory Stick.

Controls

Menu:

Up - Remove browser history

Down - Remove PIC0.PNG, PIC1.PNG, ICON1.PMF, SND0.AT3

L - Remove QUICKSPLASH file

R - Remove ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/ISOCACHE.BIN

Square - Create folders

Cross - Write 6.60 version to version.txt and usbversion.txt in ms0:/SEplugins/

Circle - Replay music.mp3

Any of the other buttons will exit the application.

Known issues

Music may sound distorted if music.mp3 has a sound rate different than 44100Hz aka 44kHz.

Jpg's more than 512x512 can cause crash.
