Burntico (French) is a retro style platform game.
User guide
As the all-powerful being that you are, you control a dragon. A very strong dragon. And yes, it can breathe fire... it can fly... and it has 3 lives.
The catch is that your dragon is sooooo strong that it is constantly chased by mutant maggots. Your hero is doomed to die. Knowing this, as a dragon, he still tries to burn as many maggots as possible before perishing. Aaaaaah!
So, the goal of the game is simple. You must kill as many maggots as possible while having 3 lives. If a maggot touches you, you lose one life.
You can go off the left side of the screen by moving to the right, off the top by going to the bottom, and vice versa, the same goes for the maggots.
A "level" consists of fighting 5 maggots. Once these 5 maggots are dead, you move to the next "level". However, their health increases as the level progresses. One flame will kill them on level 1, two flames on level 2, three flames on level 3, and so on.
The game also includes a High Score system so that the fun of surpassing your own record is always present.
Note: When you lose a life, you'll return to the same spot as before, with a short loading screen ("Attention... Ready... Go!"), and the maggots won't recover any health they lost.
